Watch live: Trump holds faith-focused town hall in battleground Georgia

Former President Trump is hosting a “Believers and Ballots” town hall in the battleground state of Georgia on Wednesday afternoon, with remarks focused on religious freedom and support for Jewish communities.

Trump will be joined by Georgia Lt. Gov. Burt Jones at the event, which comes just shy of two weeks until Election Day.

He is also expected to hit his Democratic rival Vice President Harris on reported antisemitism and what he called a “lack of commitment” to protecting religious communities, according to a campaign announcement.

The former president will also headline a rally with Turning Point USA in Georgia on Wednesday evening.

The Hill/Decision Desk HQ’s polling aggregate shows the GOP nominee leading Harris by 1.1 points in the Peach State, with 48.6 percent support to Harris’s 47.5 percent.

The town hall in Zebulon, Ga., is scheduled to begin at 3:00 p.m. EDT.
