Lawmakers weigh in on Trump’s address to Congress

The Hill caught up with lawmakers on both sides of the aisle following President Trump’s first address to a joint session of Congress.

While Republicans praised Trump’s conciliatory tone and what they say is an inspiring vision for America, Democrats described the president as “unfocused” and “divisive.”
