Watch live: Trump meets with officials on school safety
President Trump on Thursday will meet with local officials in the wake of last week’s high school shooting in Parkland, Fla.
The 10 participants include local law enforcement officials, school board members and local government leaders. All but one is either a Republican or does not identify with a party for their office.

The meeting is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. and will be open to the press.
It is the second meeting in as many days that Trump has held in response to last week’s shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, where a gunman killed 17 people and injured several others.
