President Trump is scheduled to deliver remarks about trade on Thursday afternoon.
The president announced with European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker on Wednesday that the United States and European Union had reached a deal to begin resolving the growing trade dispute. The details of the deal remain unclear.
Trump also announced this week that he was directing $12 billion in aid to American farmers affected by the escalating trade war with China.
The president is scheduled to speak at 3:40 p.m.
