Watch live: Trump’s EPA nominee faces confirmation hearing in Senate

Acting Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator Andrew Wheeler is set to testify before the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee on Wednesday as he seeks confirmation to be named the official administrator of the EPA.

Wheeler would replace former EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt, who was forced out under pressure over ethics and spending allegations in July.

The hearing is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.
