Briefly: Effects of the shutdown

The partial government shutdown, now the longest in history, is affecting over 800,000 federal workers and nine out of the 15 cabinet level departments. 

The Hill takes a look at some of the effects that federal workers, consumers and business owners are feeling as a result of the shutdown.
