Group targets Begich for backing Obama
A conservative outside group is launching a major ad buy in Alaska criticizing Sen. Mark Begich (D-Alaska) for voting to confirm many of President Obama’s judicial appointments.
The Judicial Crisis Network is spending more than $100,000 on the ad, money that goes a long way in the inexpensive state. The ad will run statewide for two weeks, according to group head Carrie Severino.
{mosads}”Mark Begich voted for every one of Obama’s liberal activist judges — every single one,” a narrator says as judges’ names scroll by.
“Even the liberal Supreme Court justices who approved Obamacare and voted against your Second Amendment rights. In Alaska, Begich says he supports your freedoms and American energy independence. But, in Washington, Begich votes with Obama to pack our most important courts with liberal judges who will rubber-stamp Obamacare, the EPA and the IRS every time. Tell Mark Begich he works for Alaska, not Obama.”
