Democratic Vice Presidential nominee Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) on Thursday will deliver remarks on the coronavirus and the economy hours ahead of President Trump’s scheduled acceptance speech for his party’s nomination for president.
Harris’s speech will highlight what she calls the president’s shortcomings in his response to the coronavirus pandemic and serves as her party’s main counter to his appearance.
Harris is scheduled to begin speaking at 3 p.m.
