Hollywood stars Susan Sarandon and Shailene Woodley spoke out against a planned pipeline through North Dakota from outside the federal district court building in Washington, D.C., Wednesday, joining a growing Native American effort to stop construction.

Woodley, an outspoken supporter of Bernie Sanders’s unsuccessful bid, told The Hill this is “a beautiful opportunity” for Clinton to prove she’s serious about working to stop climate change and supporting Native American communities.”
