The Hill’s bash: Politicians, stars unite
Worlds collided at The Hill and “Entertainment Tonight’s” White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner cocktail reception, where lawmakers rubbed elbows with some of Hollywood’s hottest stars.
{mosads}Among the glam attendees at the Friday night soiree held at the Canadian Embassy in downtown Washington: actress and model Brooklyn Decker, “Scandal” actress Darby Stanchfield, the party’s deejay, Connor Cruise, and “Entertainment Tonight” host Nancy O’Dell. The Hollywood regulars mixed and mingled with journalists, lawmakers such as Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.V.) and a slew of lobbyists and Washington bigwigs.
Also eyed at the exclusive party: White House Press Secretary Jay Carney and his wife, journalist Claire Shipman, Fox News Channel’s Ed Henry and his wife, Shirley Henry, Food Network’s Sunny Anderson, and CNN’s Michaela Pereira and Nischelle Turner.
