Dem: Many think ObamaCare repealed
Del. Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-D.C.) said the reason why fewer people than expected have signed up for ObamaCare is because many think the law was repealed.
{mosads}On Monday, MSNBC host Richard Liu asked Norton if the Obama administration can meet its goal of signing up seven million for the insurance by the end of March.
“Oh, sure,” she said. “We all do the same thing — last minute — and when that fine is going to kick in, you’re going to see people trying to sign on like you’ve never seen it before.”
Liu asked Norton why she has that expectation.
“What we have been battling now is first every time the House couldn’t think of anything else to do, it had a big debate on repealing ObamaCare, so there are millions who think it was repealed. So there was no way to break through that very easily,” she said.
