Rep. King: Tension between CIA, Senate must stop

A House Intelligence Committee member says the tension between the CIA and the Senate needs to stop.

Rep. Peter King (R-N.Y.) told The Hill, “I just hope they can resolve it, there’s a lot of important issues going on in the world and you can’t have that kind of conflict going on for too long.”

{mosads}Earlier this week, Senate Intelligence Committee Chairwoman Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) demanded an “apology” from the Central Intelligence Issue (CIA) for snooping on Senate committee computers. The CIA denied “inappropriate” searches of Senate computers.

King noted that the Justice Department was looking into the matter.
