Late-night smash: Christie on Halloween, ObamaCare scares

Late night host Jay Leno on Thursday treated his Halloween audience to some jokes about New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie’s (R) weight and also bashed ObamaCare.

“This is the worst day of the year for Governor Chris Christie, he hates giving away candy.” Leno said.

Leno then mentioned that hospitals X-ray children’s candy bags to make sure they are safe to eat, but said it might be more expensive to do so this year.

{mosads}”Unfortunately due to ObamaCare, it’s now a $1,000 co-pay to do that,” he joked.

Leno also poked fun at trick-or-treaters visiting the White House, and the confusion it must cause for President Obama’s Secret Service members.

“You know I was thinking, it must be tough being a Secret Service member on Halloween,” Leno said. “How do you pick out the suspicious person?

” ‘Yeah I got a guy at the door whose got a chainsaw and a Hannibal Lecter mask, how do we proceed here?’ ” Leno said, pretending to be a Secret Service agent on a walkie-talkie.
