SNL spoofs Sharpton, O-Care
Saturday Night Live lampooned ObamaCare and Al Sharpton in a skit this week.
Spoofing Sharpton’s MSNBC show, the familiar Sharpton character, played by Kenan Thompson, joked that the healthcare site proudly helps those with diabetes, shingles and victims of the “knockout game” that has recently received attention from national media.
{mosads}”This law is working,” the bogus Sharpton said. “President Obama said it; the White House report said it, and the official White House spokesman said it. That’s three different people, how much more evidence do we need?”
Sharpton said the healthcare website is crucial to the millions of Americans who need an affordable plan, but he is not one of them.
“I don’t trust it,” Sharpton said. “If I get a big bill, I just sell one of my own custom Puma tracksuits with a clerical collar built in.”
