MSNBC host Al Sharpton on Thursday took shots at Sen. Ted Cruz’s (R-Texas) efforts to defund ObamaCare in a segment parodying the game show “Jeopardy!”

Sharpton launched the segment after Cruz was the answer to a question on the real show asking which U.S. senator was tried to “derail ObamaCare.” Cruz tweeted after the show that it was “pretty cool” to have his name featured on the program.

{mosads}”I know I don’t agree much with Ted Cruz, but it is pretty cool to be a question on ‘Jeopardy!’ ” Sharpton said.    “[The show is] a major household name, and we know that’s what he’s going for.

“It inspired us to play a little game ourselves,” Sharpton added.

Pretending to be Alex Trebek, the game show’s famous host, Sharpton called his game “ObamaCare Jeopardy,” which featured categories like “Young Not So Invincibles,” “Canadian Fakin’ ” and “Doctor Do-Littles.”

Sharpton first asked which U.S. senator said ObamaCare hurts young people, although he added that it doesn’t and replayed the clip from the real show where a contestant answered, “Who is Cruz.”

He then asked which U.S. senator wrongfully said ObamaCare is a job killer and again played the clip of the contestant answering with Cruz.

“Wow, she’s pretty quick on the buzzer,” Sharpton said.

Sharpton posed one final question, which asked who was the U.S. senator who pushed for a full repeal of the healthcare law, even though most Americans didn’t want him to.

“This is a tough one. I don’t know if they’ll get it,” he said. “Who would still want a repeal of the healthcare law with all the good it’s doing?”

After Sharpton confirmed the answer was Cruz, he said the joke was over and that it’s time to get serious.

“Jokes aside, the healthcare law is working,” he said. “More than a million people are set to get healthcare coverage. Millions more are seeing the law’s benefits, and the Republicans who keep trashing the law are the ones really in Jeopardy.”
