Michelle Obama teams up with … penguins

Now that the midterm elections are over, Michelle Obama is joining forces with some new, extra-cool partners.

The first lady is seen chatting with one of the waddling, computer-animated stars of the upcoming DreamWorks movie, “Penguins of Madagascar,” in a clip released Wednesday by Got Your 6, a nonpartisan military veteran empowerment campaign.

{mosads}“I want to talk to you today about a group of people that inspires me everyday: our troops, veterans, and their families,” Obama says directly to the camera, before being interrupted by one of her tuxedo-colored feathered friends.

“Excuse me, Mrs. Obama. We’re a little tired of the SEALs getting all the good missions — what about us penguins?” he asks.

“As a matter of fact, I have a top secret mission that’s perfect for the penguins,” Obama replies, handing the Antarctic bird a folder.

“Now, let’s light the fuse on this mission,” one of the penguins declares, before a narrator urges viewers to learn more about Got Your 6.

Michelle Obama is co-founder of the Joining Forces initiative, which she launched in 2011 with Jill Biden to create job opportunities for vets and their families.
