Krauthammer: Staten Island grand jury decision ‘totally incomprehensible’
Fox News panelist Charles Krauthammer on Wednesday bashed a Staten Island grand jury’s decision not to indict the officer responsible for choking African-American Eric Garner to death, calling the decision “totally incomprehensible.”
“The grand jury’s decision here is totally incomprehensible,” Krauthammer said on the network. “[Garner’s] crime was as petty as they come. He was selling loose cigarettes, which in and of itself is absurd that somebody has to die over that.”
{mosads}The Garner grand jury decision comes just more than a week after a St. Louis grand jury decided not to indict officer Darren Wilson for fatally shooting unarmed African-American teenager Michael Brown.
Krauthammer did however criticize President Obama for connecting the two incidents, saying his statement “was not helpful in the least.”
