Congress can fix ObamaCare, expert says
Health policy expert Jim Capretta tells The Hill it is “erroneous” to assume a “dysfunctional” Congress won’t pass a fix to ObamaCare should the Supreme Court upend the law in King v. Burwell.
{mosads}”If the court would decide for the plaintiff, there will be enough pressure on the Congress as well as the president to agree to at least allow the subsidies to flow, so that the people don’t lose their insurance for some period of time,” Capretta, an American Enterprise Institute visiting fellow, said in an on-camera interview with The Hill’s Molly Hooper.
“I could easily see a provision like that passing to get everybody through 2015, and maybe everybody through 2016 as well.”
