Ayla Brown sings ‘I just wanna free Tom Brady’

The daughter of former Sen. Scott Brown (R-Mass.) is joining the chorus of Tom Brady fans weighing in on the Deflategate scandal, belting out a song in support of the New England Patriots quarterback.

Ayla Brown — a singer and “American Idol” alum — penned the tune “Free Tom Brady,” which calls on National Football League Commissioner Roger Goodell to reverse the four-game suspension handed down against Brady for his alleged role in the playoff game controversy.

{mosads}In the pro-Brady anthem, Brown sings:

“I don’t care if your ball’s deflated, I just want to see my man playing. Goodell, my friend, give him a break, it was just an honest mistake.”

A recent NFL investigation found two Patriots employees deflated footballs in a game against the Indianapolis Colts earlier this year in order to gain a competitive advantage. Those behind the investigation noted it was “more probable than not” that Brady was aware of the plan.

In the song she wrote with a country music radio station staffer, Brown — whose dad lost his New Hampshire Senate bid to incumbent Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D-N.H.) last November — also joins with Patriots fans calling on the Super Bowl-winning team to postpone raising the title banner until Brady’s suspension is over.

“I just wanna free Tom Brady,” Brown sings, “Don’t put the banner up now, baby.”

Brady filed an appeal against the suspension last week.
