Organized crime, terrorist cash?

Pennsylvania Rep. Mike Fitzpatrick on Thursday will hold the second hearing of the Task Force to Investigate Terrorist Financing, this time with a focus on the “intersection between international terrorist organizations that are financing organized crime.”

{mosads}The 20-person, bipartisan task force was created as a six-month temporary group to examine how terror groups are moving their money.

At the end of the six months, Fitzpatrick (R), who lead the panel, plans to issue a report and present possible legislation to help federal agencies track terrorist financing.
