Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee (R) had fellow GOP presidential contender Donald Trump bracing for a blow when Huckabee used his closing statement to urge against supporting the candidate who has done well in the polls but doesn’t know how to lead.
{mosads}But the candidate Huckabee was talking about wasn’t Trump; it was Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton.
“It seems like this election has been a whole lot on a person who has been very high in the polls, who doesn’t have a clue about how to govern, a person who has been filled with scandals and could not lead,” Huckabee said. “And of course, I’m talking about Hillary Clinton.”
As the audience laughed at Huckabee’s joke, Trump gave Huckabee a sarcastic “thank you,” obviously noting the joke was a shot at him too.
