Ryan courts the cameras

Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) is keeping an aggressive public schedule as Speaker, having already made seven broadcast interviews in his first week on the job.

{mosads}Ryan kicked off his Speakership with interviews on all five Sunday morning political talk shows, followed by a radio interview with conservative host Hugh Hewitt and an appearance one-on-one with Fox News Channel’s Greta Van Susteren. The media blitz culminated with his first weekly press conference alongside GOP leadership, and Thursday’s first solo press conference with the Capitol press corps.
