Feehery says debate watchers should keep an eye on Jeb Bush’s energy level, noting that some analysts are now questioning the former Florida governor’s enthusiasm for campaigning for the White House.
{mosads}Ben Carson’s “truthiness” will also be tested, according to Feehery. The retired pediatric neurosurgeon was scrutinized after denying any involvement with Mannatech, a Texas-based drug company forced to pay a settlement for claiming its products cured illnesses including cancer and Down syndrome.
Lastly, Feehery says to watch Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, a Tea Party favorite whose criticism of the Republican establishment has helped him raise funds and grow his political operation.
