Cruz backers get to work ahead of Iowa

GOP lawmakers supporting Ted Cruz for president are ramping up their efforts as the Iowa caucuses near.

The Texas’s junior senator has racked up nearly a dozen official endorsements from House members to date, and Cruz has made them an integral part of his campaign, even highlighting an ad cut by former Rep. Jim Bridenstine (R-Okla.), a former Navy pilot, touting Cruz’s national security credibility.
