Trump joins dark side in ‘Star Wars’ spoof
Donald Trump has joined the dark side … at least according to a spoof that portrays the GOP presidential front-runner as Darth Vader.
In the YouTube video by Auralnauts.com, Trump’s voice is heard emanating from behind the mask of the famed “Star Wars” character. The site says the clip was created with “100 percent all natural Trump sound bites.”
{mosads}In the classic scene from the movie in which Darth Vader delivers his signature, “No, I am your father,” line, the Sith Lord retorts with Trump’s voice instead of James Earl Jones’s deep tones.
“He told me you killed him,” Luke Skywalker says to Vader.
“I hit somebody with a padlock! Then I tried to stab a friend of mine whose name was Bob. He was a friend but now he’s a member of my family,” Vader says in the satirical clip. The real Trump made the comments while criticizing fellow Republican White House hopeful Ben Carson during an Iowa rally last month.
“That’s not true,” Skywalker replies, before yelling, “No!”
“So here’s the good news. So Macy’s, I sell shirts and ties, did nicely and all, not a big business or anything, but cute,” the Trump-inspired Vader responds before going on a longwinded spiel about his fragrance and cufflink products. Skywalker, apparently bored by the rant, then proceeds to throw himself down an airshaft.
Since its Monday release, the video has already racked up more than 40,000 views on YouTube.
