McCain gives Obama an ‘F’ on foreign policy
Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) tells The Hill that President Obama deserves an “F” for his handling of foreign policy.
{mosads}The Senate Armed Services Committee chairman tells The Hill’s Molly K. Hooper that Obama should get a failing grade because he “came to power believing that the United States should ‘lead from behind.’ He believed that we had to get out of conflicts.”
“Well, we can’t lead from behind,” McCain added, “and he should have learned a long time ago that when the United States gets out of conflicts, that doesn’t mean that conflicts end. [The] classic example, of course, is Iraq.”
