Rep. Joaquín Castro (D-Texas) predicts that his twin brother, Julian Castro, will be among a handful of potential VP choices Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton will consider if she becomes the party’s nominee.
Joaquín Castro, a Clinton supporter, tells The Hill’s Molly K. Hooper that his brother, the current Housing and Urban Development secretary, “will be among half dozen people that get considered.” Sens. Cory Booker (D-N.J.) and Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) would also be considered, he added.
{mosads}The San Antonio-based lawmaker said that he doesn’t think his brother has been vetted yet.
“I don’t think she’s taking anything for granted,” he added, referring to Clinton.
