A Democratic lawmaker who represents Flint, Mich., says “race is a factor” in the decision not to include money for the city in a short-term spending bill.
“I think it’s fairly clear to me that race is a factor in the way Flint has been treated,” Rep. Dan Kildee (D-Mich.) says in an interview with The Hill.
