WATCH: Rep. Steve King says Hillary’s meds ‘well balanced’ for debate

Conservative Rep. Steve King answers his own pre-debate question, telling The Hill that Hillary Clinton’s medication was “pretty well balanced” for Monday night’s political showdown with Donald Trump.

{mosads}”I think they had her meds pretty well balanced last night, because she got through the night, 90 minutes, without a problem,” the Iowa Republican said in an interview with The Hill’s Molly K. Hooper, noting the former secretary of State’s recent health issues with pneumonia.

“Inquiring American minds will want to know was Hillary Clinton on or off her meds?,” the Iowa Republican tweeted Monday morning, launching a firestorm of responses ahead of the first presidential debate.

While King’s presidential pick, Donald Trump performed well in the first 30 minutes of the debate, the former Ted Cruz for President co-chairman conceded that “on balance” Clinton “held herself together throughout 90 mins and she’s got claim.”
