The U.S. women’s national soccer team will be feted with a ticker tape parade in New York City on Monday in celebration of its victory in the World Cup.
The U.S. national team defeated the Netherlands 2-0 in Lyon, France, on Sunday. It’s the team’s fourth World Cup victory.
{mosads}The team has captured headlines on and off the field during its run as its members have advocated for equal pay and taken on President Trump.
The parade will begin at 9:30 and travel down Broadway through lower Manhattan.
