WATCH: GOP lawmaker predicts Corker will get State nod

President-elect Donald Trump will pick Sen. Bob Corker for Secretary of State, predicts an outgoing GOP lawmaker.

{mosads}While a number of lawmakers on Capitol Hill refuse to say who Trump should select as the nation’s top diplomat, retiring GOP Rep. Reid Ribble (Wisc.) tells The Hill’s Molly K. Hooper that he thinks the Senate Foreign Relations Committee chairman will likely get the nod.

“He’s probably going to pick Bob Corker … I think Trump wants somebody that could do that job but is also more neutral on politics of this election,” Ribble says in an interview.
