GOP rep tells concertgoers ‘be cautious’ after concert bombing
Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.) says that in the wake of the bombing at a Manchester, England, concert Monday, those attending concerts and other public gatherings should “be cautious … but not concerned.”
“Don’t let it change your habit patterns. Don’t lock the doors and stay inside all day; continue to live your life,” Kinzinger told The Hill on Tuesday.
“Your chances of being hurt in something like this is very, very low. The terrorists want us to live in fear and be afraid and so deny them that victory.”
{mosads}He added that “if something’s suspicious, say something; don’t feel like you’re going to be judged for thinking something’s suspicious.”
