Watch live: Cruz, O’Rourke face off in first debate
Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) and Rep. Beto O’Rourke (D-Texas) are set to square off Friday evening in the first of three Senate debates.
The debate in Dallas comes as polls show O’Rourke trailing Cruz by single digits in their hotly contested Senate battle.
The nonpartisan Cook Political Report on Friday moved the race from “leans Republican” to “toss up.”
