Julia Mueller is a politics reporter for The Hill, covering campaigns and the White House. Julia is a graduate of the University of Oregon and Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism, where she received her Master’s in journalism with a focus in politics, policy and foreign affairs reporting. She earned Medill’s highest award for graduate students, the Harrington Award for Subject Depth Reporting, as well as a scholarship from the White House Correspondents’ Association. Her work has appeared in USA Today, United Press International and regional outlets including the Wisconsin State Journal and the Tampa Bay Times. She was also managing editor and co-author of an investigative reporting book published by Anthem Press.
