Jeb raffling off ticket to Colbert’s ‘Late Show’ debut

The campaign of Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush is giving away a ticket to next month’s premiere of “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.”

Supporters are encouraged to pitch in at least $3 on the campaign’s website for a chance to win an all-expenses-paid trip to New York to watch the show’s first taping.

{mosads}Bush wrote in an email to supporters that getting “a VIP ticket to the very first taping of the Late Show with a new host, that’s something you’ll still be talking about 20 years from now.”

The former Florida governor’s campaign announced earlier this month that he would be joining George Clooney as one of the first guests on Colbert’s new show when it debuts on Sept. 8.

Colbert is filling the seat of former “Late Show” host David Letterman, who retired in May after a 22-year run.

Bush’s campaign has raffled off tickets before, including ones to attend its watch party at the first GOP debate in Cleveland earlier this month.

CBS announced Monday the lineup for the show’s first week, including comedian Amy Schumer, Tesla Motors CEO Elon Musk and Uber CEO Travis Kalanick.
