Trump Jr.: Nordstrom dropping Ivanka’s brand is ‘disgusting’

Donald Trump Jr., President Trump’s oldest son, said that retail giant Nordstrom’s decision to drop his sister Ivanka Trump’s apparel brand is “disgusting” in a recent interview with The New York Times.

Donald Jr. and his brother Eric agreed with their father’s public defense of Ivanka on Twitter last week. The president criticized the retailer for dropping his daughter’s brand from its stores.

{mosads}“My daughter Ivanka has been treated so unfairly by @Nordstrom. She is a great person — always pushing me to do the right thing! Terrible!” Trump wrote on Twitter.

In statements, Nordstrom said it dropped Ivanka Trump’s line after poor sales. Other retailers, including Sears, TJ Maxx and Kmart, have also dropped product lines affiliated with the Trump family or downplayed their presence in stores. Activists opposed to the president have called for boycotts of retailers who sell Trump products.

Eric Trump referred to his father as “Papa Bear” during the interview, explaining how Trump feels that he has to defend his family.
