The name Donald fell to a record low in 2020 during former President Trump’s final year in office, HuffPost reported.
Donald dropped 55 places on the Social Security Administration list with only 444 newborns being named Donald in 2020.
The name became the 610th most popular, hitting its lowest point since the agency began tracking baby names.
It is not uncommon for the name of a president to drop in popularity during their administration, according to HuffPost.
The name was most popular in the 1930s when more than 30,000 boys and more than 100 girls were named Donald in 1934.
Along with Donald dropping on the list, the name Karen also fell 170 spots in 2020.
The name Karen presumably fell due to the name becoming a meme and used on social media to mean a white woman who is overreacting to a situation.
Olivia and Liam were the most popular baby names for the second year in a row in 2020.
“It appears parents chose to stick with the familiar during an unprecedented time, with the top three names for both girls – Olivia, Emma, and Ava – and boys – Liam, Noah, and Oliver – remaining the same for the second year in a row,” the Social Security press office said.
