A full draft report regarding the ongoing election audit in Maricopa County, Ariz., has been delayed after three out of five members of Cyber Ninja’s analytics team contracted COVID-19.

The company’s review, which began in April at the direction of Republican state lawmakers, was expected to deliver its findings after reviewing more than 2.1 million ballots, according to Business Insider. President Biden defeated former President Trump in Maricopa County by upwards of 45,000 votes.

Biden carried the state by more than 10,000 votes, and Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey certified the president’s victory in November.

State Sen. Karen Fann (R) said in a statement Monday she had received a “portion” of the expected draft, but “CEO Doug Logan and two other members of the five-person audit team have tested positive for COVID-19 and are quite sick.”

“In addition to the illnesses, it wasn’t until Thursday that the Senate received the images of the ballot envelopes from Maricopa County and are hoping to have those analyzed as soon as possible to incorporate those results into the final report,” the statement said.

“There is no evidence, so they’re trying to use this exercise to make it up,” she said.
