Zalokar went missing the previous weekend after failing to return from a hike at Yosemite. Zalokar, an endurance athlete who enjoyed running, climbing, and hiking, had set out on July 17 to hike an off-trail route from Happy Isles to the summit of Mount Clark.
“This incident remains under investigation,” the park said. “No additional information is available. Our condolences to his family and friends.”
