Hill.TV host Krystal Ball argued Tuesday that Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) is the real winner out of the Iowa caucus, even though the official results haven’t been released yet.
“Putting aside the ultimate mess of not actually knowing the final results…the actual order that appears to be what we’re ultimately going to end up with could not be better for Bernie Sanders,” Ball, a Sanders supporter, said.
Ball’s comments come after the Sanders’s campaign released its own internal polling results claiming a win in Iowa. The move came after former South Bend, Ind. Mayor Pete Buttigieg similarly declared that he had a “victorious” night.
