Poll: 67 percent approve of Biden’s handling of the pandemic

About two-thirds of voters approve of President Biden’s handling of the coronavirus pandemic, a new Hill-HarrisX poll finds.

Sixty-seven percent of registered voters in the July 20-21 survey said they approve of Biden’s handling of COVID-19.

Thirty-three percent of respondents said they disapprove.

This latest data is consistent with previous surveys that showed support for Biden’s handling of the pandemic in the high 60’s.

Fifty-eight percent of voters overall approve of Biden’s job as president while 42 percent disapprove.

Sixty percent of voters support Biden on administering the government while 40 percent of respondents do not.

Biden has 57 percent support in the areas of the economy, stimulating jobs, and fighting terrorism while 56 percent said the same of his handling of foreign affairs.

Biden’s lowest markings remain on the issue of immigration, with voters split 50-50.

The Hill-HarrisX poll was conducted online among 949 registered voters. It has a margin of error of 3.18 percentage points.
